Translation can be done in several ways: by typing in the top text frame; by a mouse click on word list; by programme activating to translate the clipboard word; by mouse selection in other programmes.

The translation will be displayed in the bottom text frame. Transcriptions will be displayed in the right-hand panel (There are two types of transcription: standard, and the version used by Donald Rayfield).

In response to keyboard inputting, the list-box displays words with the same initial letters and thus saves the trouble of typing the last part of a word. The familiar "Acadnusx" keyboard layout is used for inputting Georgian words. Translation is displayed by pressing the Enter key. Words inputted this way will be saved in translation history list (to translate select them again). You can print, save or just open this list.

To translate words in other programmes (when the required box is checked), select one word by a double mouse click, or hold down and drag the cursor by using the mouse. Translation will be displayed after releasing the mouse.
Note that in this mode the clipboard is in use by this programme.
